We present AMES (Approximate Multimodal Enterprise Search), a unified multimodal late interaction retrieval architecture which is backend agnostic. AMES demonstrates that fine-grained multimodal late interaction retrieval can be deployed within a production grade enterprise search engine without architectural redesign.
